What this notice covers

This notice explains what happens to your personal data when you use the "Get early access" form on this website. It does not cover anything beyond that form — this site does not currently have any other way of collecting personal data from you.

What we collect

We intentionally collect the email address you submit through the Early Access form. Beyond that, as with any website, our hosting provider and the third-party services this site uses (see below) may automatically process standard technical data — such as your IP address, browser type, and other request information — as part of loading the page and handling your submission. We do not use this technical data for marketing, profiling, or tracking.

Why we collect it

To send you LOCKED IN early-access and product-launch updates — nothing else. We do not use your email address for any other purpose, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Legal basis

Consent. You actively provide this by checking the consent box and submitting the form — the box is unticked by default, and submission is blocked until you check it yourself.

Who processes it

Your email address is stored and managed by Brevo, the email marketing and contact-management service we use to send Early Access updates. Brevo processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy.

Withdrawing consent

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, which removes you from the list immediately. You can also contact us directly at uutelasamu@gmail.com to request removal at any time.

How long we keep it

We retain your email address for as long as necessary for the LOCKED IN Early Access and product-launch update purpose, or until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or marketing tracking cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is currently shown. It does load fonts and a form-handling script from third-party services (Google Fonts and Brevo). Loading these resources means those providers may receive standard connection data — such as your IP address — as part of fulfilling that request, in line with their own privacy practices; this site does not use them to track you beyond that. If analytics or marketing tools are added in the future, this section will be updated and a proper consent mechanism will be added first.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Finland, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman

Who operates this site

This website is operated as part of the LOCKED IN project in Finland. A separate registered LOCKED IN legal entity has not yet been established.
